Uinta Brewing Company has announced the completion of a new facility that will begin canning their flagship brews. This new building is adjacent to the current Salt Lake City facility already used to brew and bottle.
The new canning line will produce 12 oz. cans of Hop Notch IPA, Cutthroat Pale Ale, Wyld Organic Pale Ale, and Baba Organic Black Lager. Some might be concerned this is a move away from bottles for the SLC local, the company released this statement "Canning these will not take from the brands’ traditional packaging outfit, they will continue to be available in the proprietary Compass Bottle," adding "The Uinta team, comprised of outdoor enthusiasts, was eager to add a package that pairs well with exploration. Cans will allow Uinta product to join consumers on outdoor adventures, a reality that aligned with the heart of Uinta."
