The Beer Snobs - DBA Clone on Bourbon and Alleycat Amber

This week I reprised my role as the home brewer on The Beer Snobs podcast. I always have fun hanging out with these guys and sharing some of my recent home brews. This week I stopped by with a clone of Firestone Walker's Double Barrel Ale (DBA). I've been a fan of DBA for years, but wanted to put a twist on the old favorite. Enter Eagle Rare 10, a 10 year old Bourbon that I soaked in oak chips for 6 months.
DBA Clone
Home brew: Double Barrel Ale Clone
Malt Bill:
Crystal 75L, Abbey, Crystal 120L, Pale Chocolate.
Hops: Willamette, Kent Goldings
Yeast: English Ale Yeast
Additions: Eagle Rare 10 soaked Oak Chips
After that Daemon, B, and myself dove right into our blind tasting. The beer that we are featuring this week is the Alleycat Amber by Lost Coast Brewery.
