I made it back for the my second trip to the LA Vegan Beer & Food Festival, and it was once again a huge success. In its fifth year, this fest seems to now be a staple for LA beer fest goers annually. Located across the street from the Roxy Theatre, the small lot fosters a great intimate setting, without being overcrowded. I personally have a thing for the smaller fests, so this one is right up my alley.
There was once again a great lineup of vegan-centric food and fare, with a wide array of food trucks and local vegan restaurants to choose from. There was also another great lineup of breweries. Golden Road Brewing’s Heal The Bay IPA was back and again a crowd favorite, as was their Almond Milk Stout (vegan, of course), and Noble Brewing’s booth had a constant line for their brews. The live music from He’s My Brother, She’s My Sister and Heaps N Heaps added to the atmosphere.
All in all, this was once again a slam dunk event. I look forward to seeing what next year’s has in store, as I will most definitely be back.
