I had the pleasure of finding Old Creek ale house while on vacation with the wife for our anniversary. I really wasn't expecting to find anything craft beer related in Cayucos. It's a small, quiet beach town north of San Luis Obispo. No street lights, no Starbucks, no fast food chains, perfect. We passed by on our way to breakfast and knew we had to come back. I think we returned around noon (hey! no problem with day drinking while on vacation, stop judging me!) to an open bar with only a couple people inside. We took a seat on the very comfortable couches and ordered a brew. They had a couple of TVs inside that had ESPN-related stuff on that held my interest. The only staff was a female bartender who was very friendly. My wife and her had a lengthy conversation about pregnancy (did I forget to mention they were both pregnant? Again, stop judging me.) The prices were very fair and the selection was surprisingly varied for only having 18 taps. This place is a can't miss if you're in Cayucos and almost a reason in itself to book a vacation there.

(No food prepared on location, but BYO and local delivery is welcome, so I gave a 5 for that)
